TRAXIUM GEAR 9 SG 75W-90 is a synthetic-based gear oil with high performances, developed for manual gearboxes in Scania heavy trucks and buses. Recommended for extreme conditions such as carrying heavy loads, operating at high or low speeds or in high or low temperatures

Benefits

  • Protection of gearbox: Excellent extreme-pressure and anti-wear properties preventing scuffing wear and pitting of gears and bearings, even under very highly loaded conditions.
  • Reduced maintenance cost: Excellent resistance to oxidation and shear stability to maintain high performance and achieve fully the oil drain intervals specified by the constructor (especially for services 0:0; 0 and 1).
  • Consistent performance of lubricant: Excellent filterability and antifoam behaviour allowing optimal oil flow in the gearboxes.
  • Fuel economy: Improved, long-lasting friction characteristics contribute to a reduced loss of power and lower operating temperature.
